Here are some important reminders:
- Executive Board meeting is rescheduled for Monday, April 5.
- Contracts will be given to building reps at the April 5 meeting. If you (building reps) are unable to attend, please send someone to pick up the contracts for your building members.
- Health care cards are effective immediately. Our new health plan went into effect on March 1, 2010.
- There will be a general association meeting on Monday, May 3 at 4:00 PM in the High School Auditorium.
- The contract was ratified yesterday, March 23, 2010.
National Board Certification
Any CMEA member who has achieved National Board Certification must contact Lori Freeze by Wednesday March 3 to ensure that you will receive the stpiend stipulated in the contract. You can e-mail Lori at freezel@cmeaworks.org
CONTRACT RATIFIED
The CMEA barganing committee reports that the tenative agreement between the CMEA and the Canon-McMillan School District has been ratified by a vote of 220 to 42.
